We’re looking for an experienced, skilled, fast and communicative lash stylist to join our friendly Parramatta team starting in September. 2/3 or 4 days per week, depending on your availability (Thursdays till 8pm essential, other days by negotiation)
We’re offering specialist, above award wages as well as performance incentives/bonuses, ongoing training and development, plus enjoy highly discounted/free staff treatments and discounted products.
We’re offering flexible hours, from 18 – 38 hours per week, depending on your availability, however the successful applicant must be available Thursday evenings till 8pm. If you would like to join us just 1-2 days initially, and gradually increase your hours, that is also a possibility.
Essential skills and characteristics
- You are extremely experienced with either hand made or pro-made volume lashes (as well as classics), have great retention, isolation and styling skills with this lash type
- Minimum 12 months experience (continuous) applying eyelash extensions including a confident, neat and gentle technique
- You demonstrate proper hygiene/lash safety procedures, proper taping and eyepad techniques, and are aware of client comfort at all times
- You are experienced with infills/refills
- The ability to apply a minimum of 50 lashes per eye in 60 minutes, or 80—90 lashes per eye in 90 minutes, with good isolation, direction and styling, and comfort to the client (gentle technique).
- Fluent in English and solid communication skills – this is a very customer service-focused role, so it is essential that you are able to communicate with your clients well without any assistance.

- Reliable, with a strong work ethic
- Supportive and encouraging to colleagues, a team player
- Able to work for a minimum of 6 months in Australia.
- Although not essential, if you are experienced and skilled in lash lifting, or brow treatment such as shaping tinting henna waxing laminations etc, this would be an advantage.
Only applicants with actual, proven eyelash extension experience will be considered/contacted – this is essential for this position.
Part of the interview process involves a 90 minute practical application of eyelash extensions at our salon.
We also accept applications from talented candidates on student visa/working holiday visas, provided you are able to work for a minimum of 6 months.
